Aight, I'm back at it again with another rant. This will be the second one where I don't just babble on and on incoherently. I'll be listing points and going over each point individually to show why I hate closed species, I hate artists who make them, I hate gullible morons who buy into them, and they stifle creativity. [My Many Points] 1) Closed Species are Unoriginal: Do I have to say much about this topic? How many 'closed species' have you seen where it's just a cat or a dog with an extra animal part to it? Like those food + animal hybrids! They're just dogs or cats, but mixed with food! That's it! A 'hot dog dog' or a 'taco cat'. Look, I'll admit that there are some amazing designs out there and I'll freely admit that there are unique species that have been made. However, let's get to this next point so I can drill a point home with a couple of you closed species artists, if you're reading this. 2) Closed Species Aren't Protected by Law: You can't copyright a concept, or Disney

What is with this "Closed Species"? I know the concept is pretty cool if you put time and effort into creating an ACTUAL good species. I look through a lot of them, and I usually find the good gems among the dirt. That being said, all that dirt surrounding the gems are a problem... Here is something that infuriates me the most about the dirt is that... You're putting features from other animals onto another and calling it a unique species? Like, ok, not everyone who has a unique species does that, but... If you stick cat ears, cat tail, and cat paws on a human... That isn't unique! I'm just trying to understand, why aren't there stricter rules to these things? Weed out the ones not being creative enough. STOP PUTTING ANIMAL PARTS ON HUMANS AND CALLING THEM A UNIQUE SPECIES. Don't put something on a dog and call it unique! Because more than likely other people could've put that same thing on that dog and now you're gonna claim it as "intellectual property" as if it was a unique idea
